Magnetic Conveyors

Filcon Magnetic Conveyors are designed to convey ferrous chips generated from Gear Hobbers, Broaching Machines, Spline Cutting Machines, Deep Hole Drilling Machines and SPMS. The conveyor mechanism is totally enclosed construction, has no moving external parts resulting in jam free operation and virtually maintenance free. The powerful magnets mounted on endless chain attract chips and slide them over the smooth stainless steel top plate. The leak proof construction allows the charge length of the conveyor to be submerged in oil or coolant tank. The magnetic conveyor can handle large volume of coolant with chips.

The ferrous chips get attracted towards stainless steel top plate, when the conveyor chain is moved by a geared motor the chips slides over the top plate towards the discharge end. Thus the coolant is free from the chips and hence the conveyor also acts as a primary coolant filter.
