Oil Skimmers

Filcon belt type Oil Skimmers are designed for machining center and part washing applications. By removing tramp oil from coolant tanks and surface oil from a wash tank, reduces bacteria growth in the coolant tank. Filcon oil skimmers provide most inexpensive way to remove oil from coolant tanks and enhance life of coolant.

Filcon belt type oil skimmers is having a continuous belt and wiper to scrape oil from belt. The belt operates on a speed reducer and pulley system attached to a mounting bracket, which is immersed in the contaminate coolant. Belt after moving over the drive pulley, the belt pass through the wiper blade, where oil is scraped off from the belt surface and discharge in to oil decanter. Oil decanter function on the principle of gravity separation, water and oil are forced out through their respective discharge tubes and ports. The water is sent back to coolant tank and oil is collected lin oil bin.
